Thomas Luck
The Rev. G. Thomas Luck has a passion for making connections with people in many different settings: “connecting people to each other, helping all of us feel connected with God, as we strive to fulfill God’s reign of peace and justice.”
Tom shares, “My first memories of life are in a small Texas town and the church where my father was the priest. My elementary school years were in Arlington, where my dad was a college chaplain, and was eventually fired in 1967 for preaching sermons against the Vietnam war.” It was during that anti-war movement era that Thomas became aware of the Episcopal Peace Fellowship.
He was ordained in Dallas, and starting in 1983 spent three decades serving congregations in the Dioceses of New Hampshire, Maine, and Central New York (including as dean of St. Paul's Cathedral in Syracuse NY). Now in “semi-retirement” in Fredericksburg TX, Tom continues to serve in ministry in the Diocese of West Texas, working especially with rural and small churches.
