Joshua Nobles

Joshua Nobles was appointed as executive director of the Episcopal Peace Fellowship in July 2026. He has dedicated his career to shaping organizations through spiritual formation for the peace of the whole world.

For over a decade he served as executive director of a nonprofit ministry, leading a significant organizational turnaround. Nobles most recently served as chief development officer of WCTE-PBS in Nashville, Tennessee, where he led the development team to increase sustainable revenue, deepen donor engagement, and build a pipeline for major donor acquisition and retention. Prior to that, he served as a pastor in inter-denominational spaces that created room for everyone around God's table. With over a decade in both nonprofit leadership and ministry, Joshua brings to EPF an array of experience to build its membership, giving, and community impact across the nation.

Joshua has degrees in music from North Carolina School of the Arts and is currently completing his M.Div. at Duke Divinity School. In addition to his work at EPF, Nobles serves as the director for Church in the Yard — a ministry to the unhoused — at Episcopal Church of the Holy Trinity in Nashville.
